The Struggle of Leaving What We Love: Exploring the challenge of walking away from our favorite things and the reasons why it can be so difficult
So, I hopped onto TikTok, set up an account under a pseudonym that wouldn’t lead back to me, and posted those dance videos. Within an hour of posting, I had 80 followers and over 300 views of my videos. The beast was being fed.
I wrote this a while ago. I was having a day when these thoughts came to me. I rarely show my personal writing to anyone, not even my husband. When you loose someone so close to you, sometimes numbers are all you have. Numbers, can be the only way to hold on to a memory or a way to keep something from falling away.
In my latest blog post, I share a cautionary tale about selling a scooter on a marketplace platform. To contribute my son's birthday wish list, he decided to sell his scooter. Little did I know that selling on marketplaces could be a breeding ground for scammers.
